Sometimes I think about the word mother, you instantly come into mind I don’t think that I never meet or know of a woman such as you I never forget all the wonderful things you’ve done since the time I entered your life&You taught me to read, to write, to become my own individual that I am today

I never knew what direction to follow in life, and God allowed you to help me
Showing each and every direction that I can take
I never got to tell you how much I do appreciate it
For you are the reason that I am standing tall and proud today
You made sure that I didn’t get beat down by society but I beat society down with success

I know as a child, I may rebelled against certain things for that was early independence
But as a mother you know what was right, cause you didn’t want me to end up on the streets
Being in these mean streets either dead, on drugs, or even homeless
I think you would of taken your life had something happened to one of us

I never understand why God allowed such a beautiful loving woman as you to come into this world
And to be a victim of hatred and dislike by so many rude people
To have these people feel like you was in the wrong when you wasn’t that was not so cool
Mother, again you overcame and out lived a lot of people to destroy the melodrama and still stand on top

You always been a loyal friend both to your family and your friends
You knew what made a person feel good
You made a real difference in all of us, you may not seen it but its there
Each one of us (your children, your grandchildren, and great-grandchildren) has a piece of you in all of us
You made the person that I am today, a loving, caring, individual who understands

I can never replace or find a mother like you
You are one of a kind and that’s genuine
Cause its no mother like you that stick with her kids through thick and thin
And I will never turn my back on you no matter what

When the day comes, that you are not around anymore I have many memories to reflect back on
I can always say that my mother was a good woman, a strong woman, a wise woman, and an understanding woman
I know that you loved and no doubt that I didn’t ….you are my momma and I love you!

VIDEO: Nicki Minaj LEVITATES & EXORCIZES For "Roman Holiday" GRAMMY Performance

Nicki Minaj "rapped" while suspended in mid-air (never seen that before) on the Grammys Sunday night for an over-produced performance of "Roman Holiday." Watch it inside....

Nicki Minaj (who arrived with "The Pope" & Sarafee) gave a churchy performance of "Roman Holiday" at the Grammys tonight.  And it seemed like she was attempting to do the 2012 even more controversial version of Madonna's "Like A Prayer."

There's a fine line between creativity and hoopla because you can. The performance was ahrd to follow, especally witht he minute and a half "mini movie" she showed and then switched into levitation and holy water for the on stage performance.

Grab your Bibles and watch the performance here:

GRAMMY VIDEO: Jennifer Hudson Sings "I Will Always Love You" In Tribute To Whitney Houston

Asked to perform a task that many would feel is impossible, Jennifer Hudson took the stage at Sunday night's GRAMMY Awards to pay tribute to the late Whitney Houston.

Pics and video from her performance inside...

Jennifer looked wonderful in this look she decided to take the stage in.  And she tapped into her stage presence to perform a 2 minute rendition of Whitney's "I Will Always Love You."

It was definitely heartfelt and her own spin on a classic.  It was more simplistic than Jen's usual but beautiful.  No one else was added to the tribute, including Chaka Khan.  And afterwards, Jen seemed emotional as she got a Standing O.

Here's the video below:
