Black Queen

I went to the market today
Had the taste for a beautiful Black lady
A Nubian princess so precious and rare
One's who love and affection could not be compared

I walked to the counter and said
I don't want diamonds, or a car or bread
I want the sensuality
I desire the creativity the intimacy of a Caramel coated lady

Something that would fulfill me
Stimulate me mentally and physically
But her most important quality
Are not her outer beauty but her personality?

He asked me did I want light skinned or dark
Long flowing hair, Afro, or with a beauty mark
I told him to show me his Ebony delicacy
Because all Black women posses that essence of beauty

Man, his shelves were full
Each Black lady was beautiful
I was like a kid in the candy store
For every masterpiece he showed me I desired more

So many different flavors
Dipped in passion and intimacy
God's creativity
Wrapped in passion and sensuality

He had Peach skinned and Coffee and cream
Beautiful black women from out of a dream
Honey gold, Chocolate and Clove
Walnut tinted, Cocoa brown dipped in love

Pomegranate, Rich cream colored and Plum tinted black
So many delectable dishes I wanted to buy them by the sack
Cinnamon
Blackberry cordial, Caramel skinned woman

Brown sugar, Honey brown beauties
Molasses taffy and Licorice cuties
Mocha bronze and Pecan tan
Ginger wine gold, the desire of all Black men

Feminine sweetness and perfection
Anyone one of these beautiful black masterpieces would be a great selection
He had my mouth watering and eyes glazed
So many beauties, Nubian cuties I was truly amazed

So I took the one that was right for me
Her beauty lied within the essence of her personality
A woman who possessed the love I desire
A beautiful black queen who ignites my soul and fire

Because you can't put a price on beauty
Of a Black woman's strength, pride and creativity
She is like a precious flower that continues to blossom and grow
The secret of a Black woman's beauty, is her heart, only a true black man knows
words from a true KING.....

VIDEO: Nicki Minaj LEVITATES & EXORCIZES For "Roman Holiday" GRAMMY Performance

Nicki Minaj "rapped" while suspended in mid-air (never seen that before) on the Grammys Sunday night for an over-produced performance of "Roman Holiday." Watch it inside....

Nicki Minaj (who arrived with "The Pope" & Sarafee) gave a churchy performance of "Roman Holiday" at the Grammys tonight.  And it seemed like she was attempting to do the 2012 even more controversial version of Madonna's "Like A Prayer."

There's a fine line between creativity and hoopla because you can. The performance was ahrd to follow, especally witht he minute and a half "mini movie" she showed and then switched into levitation and holy water for the on stage performance.

Grab your Bibles and watch the performance here:

After performing "Beautiful People" earlier in the night, Chris Brown returned to the stage a second time for a dance party mashup (the first one the Grammys ever had) that got a little crazy. See all the crazy fun inside......

Chris Brown, who won Best R&B Album for F.A.M.E., copped the Best R&B Album award from Common & Taraji P. Henson.  Then he returned to the stage with a wild crazy international dance party that featured David Guetta, Foo Fighters and Deadmau5.

But first, he caught up with Stevie Wonder backstage.

Then is was time to dance!  He came out as Breezy DMC:

GRAMMY VIDEO: Jennifer Hudson Sings "I Will Always Love You" In Tribute To Whitney Houston

Asked to perform a task that many would feel is impossible, Jennifer Hudson took the stage at Sunday night's GRAMMY Awards to pay tribute to the late Whitney Houston.

Pics and video from her performance inside...

Jennifer looked wonderful in this look she decided to take the stage in.  And she tapped into her stage presence to perform a 2 minute rendition of Whitney's "I Will Always Love You."

It was definitely heartfelt and her own spin on a classic.  It was more simplistic than Jen's usual but beautiful.  No one else was added to the tribute, including Chaka Khan.  And afterwards, Jen seemed emotional as she got a Standing O.

Here's the video below:
