It's Lent for those of us in western Christianity. The traditional purpose of Lent is the preparation of the believer — through prayer, penitence, almsgiving and self-denial. This is to last 40 days (The forty days represent the time that Jesus spent in the desert before the beginning of his public ministry, where he endured temptation by Satan).

Ok......so FACEBOOK and it's plethora of ridiculous groups has one called "iPOD, iPhone, iTouch..iPAD..what's next? iTampon?". It made me chuckle a bit and then my daughters with their silly butts decided to tell me just how the iTampon application would work:
