Okay, Y'all know I live in the grand 'ol state of Utah. Like I said before... Being born and raised here. I have seen and heard damn near all I can deal with... Before I go off on what I feel "Separation of church and state" means to me... I would Like to know what others feel it means to them.... I don't want the actual definition. I know what the actual definition is... I want to know a little more about other cities and how they deal with it... Or if it even exists where you live.

If you don't already know, the state of Utah is known for its main religion. Mormonism.
I could say.. "enough said"... But so not the case... More needs to be said and trust me on this... More will come to light.
The reason I am asking this question to my neighbors is because I have been watching the news and noticed that the state of Utah is all in the business of California and the gay rights situation they have been dealing with. People have been traveling from UT to CA just to protest. The state of UT is govern by it's main religion.
Now, I will be straight up with y'all on this one... I don't agree with most of what gay activists are trying to do (legalize marriage between same sex couples). But I also don't care enough to spend my hard earned money on trying to tell others what to do with their lives. I don't agree with the gay life style. But love them nevertheless. You can't make someone do what you THINK is right. Most would say..."what you KNOW is right"... either way it goes... There really is to much going on in the world for me to focus on gays and lesbians trying to get married. I DON'T CARE!!!
The state of UT(mormons) is so caught up in thinking they are perfect and trying to force their religion on others. They don't even see what is really going on right here at home... There are more gays and lesbians in the mormon religion then I or anyone else can shake a stick at. We'd have a busted ass city with jack up trees if we even tried...And not only is the gay and lesbian population big in the mormon church....Sad to say, It is big in religions all over the world. (HELLURRR, CHOIR DIRECTORS!!... Lol!) My religion included. I don't feel the is ONE true religion. Not all religions are for everybody... I feel that is why God ALLOWED others to form different organized religions. I can't do what mormons do as far as practice their beliefs. Its not for me. Mormons can't do what I do... They'd run screaming and crying...Lol!

The gay and lesbian situation isn't the only thing mormons control or try to control.

When it comes to getting a job, Schooling, housing, Loans for whatever. The mormons own damn near all the banks in UT and SURPRISE.... Most in your state as well. Think I'm lying?... Look it up. Google it. Read the history on how some businesses got started and how they are still organized and ran.

On somewhat of a side note...They also own and run most of what you see in the media. Like I said before... Think i'm lying?... Good. Don't take my word for it... Look it up.

Is there a separation in your state?...

Here in the "A" it's more hypocritical than anything. I guess the Christians out number every other denominations here, but they are more judgemental than anything. I don't see them having much power to stop someone from getting a job or whatever. They control the gossip about sister Mary and her husband, but I can't say they control the state. Besides, I think we have a yearly parade for gays and lesbians and they don't start any ruckus with that either. You sound like you live in a cult state.
I have heard a lot of people say they think mormons are a cult. I believe so as well. We also have a gay and lesbian parade every year. They can't really run away all the homosexuals. Half of them are undercover anyway. But they do try to control what goes on. Clubs shut down at 130am. And they stop selling alcohol in the clubs at midnight.
Utah is somewhat of a nice place to live. But it is very sheltered. They lack culture and diversity. And the mormons control a lot.
It's the classic smokescreen. I know I have problems, but if I bring enough of yours to light, then you can't focus on mine.

My problem with the Mormons in the gay marriage debate is this: A couple of years ago, the Republicans sicced the IRS on several Black religious groups because they said by trying to influence political events, they were in fact a political action committee and should not enjoy a tax-free status.

Now, why is it o.k. for the Mormons to DIRECTLY influence a vote and no one is calling them a political group.
So true Ed. I remember hearing about that situation. I actually goot into and argument with a random person one day about it. Lets just say it didn't end nice. He was so upset he brought so many other people into the conversation and tried to state facts on why its ok. Nope... No matter how you put it... IT'S ONE SIDED!

WHAT'S BEEF: Did Chris Brown GET PISSY With Meek Mill OVER Rihanna? + Was Chris LASHING Out At Raz B For "ALLEGEDLY" Saying He's Gay?

Chris Brown is involved in a few beefs with other industry artists right now.  Get the deets on what's going on between him and Meek Mill and Raz B!

The word on the street is that Meek Mill got his verse on Chris Brown's "Don't Judge Me" dropped from the Fortune disc because Chris got pissy that Meek was hanging with Rihanna at a strip club.

Chris wasn't too pleased that Rihanna stopped by Meek Mill's party at Club Perfections last month so he bumped Meek off the disc.  Over the weekend, Meek tweeted,

We shall see how this one play's out.  But you know how pissy Chris can be......

And in other Chris beefs..........

Former B2K member Raz B has allegedly written a book called This Boy's Life.  We say allegedly because we have not been able to verify existence of the book with the publishing company or Raz B's reps.  But rumor has it that the book features explosive allegations about former B2K members (Omarion, Lil' Fizz, J Boog), Bow Wow, Ray J, Chris Stokes and Chris Brown all being gay.

On Chris the book says,

“They say you never know who knows who. Chris Brown didn’t think about that when he attacked me online. I have a friend that’s very close to Chris’ camp who told me that Chris was involved with an up and coming songwriter Andre Merritt. So when Chris started going in calling people ‘gay’ and ‘fags’ I just dropped Andre Merritt’s name. I knew it was true when he decided to shut up.”

Chris responded (his tweets were later deleted) to the alleged book saying,

If this book ever hits shelves, the fallout could be very interesting.  We'll keep you posted.

Andre 3000 FILMS Jimi Hendrix Biopic + Ne-Yo & Jamie Foxx PARTY In Las Vegas

Andre 3000 is over in Dublin filming the Jimi Hendrix biopic.  Get deets on the film and see Ne-Yo and Jamie Foxx hosting a pool party in Las Vegas.

Andre Benjamin aka Andre 3000 (who celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday) began filming All Is by My Side, a Jimi Hendrix biopic, today in Dublin, Ireland.

Andre 3000 wants fans to be surprised by the film so he avoided photos so everything will be fresh when it hits the screen.

But when it hits the screen, don't expect to hear Jimi's original music.  Apparently, the estate is not on board with the biopic.  The estate released a statement saying,

"Experience Hendrix CEO Janie Hendrix, sister of Jimi Hendrix, and the EH board have not ruled out a 'biopic' in the future though producing partners would, out of necessity, have to involve the company from the inception of any such film project if it is to include original Jimi Hendrix music or composition."

Andre 3000 will likely have to record covers of all Jimi songs used in the film.  But hey.....isn't that what we wanted anyway?

And in Las Vegas...........

Yesterday, Ne-Yo hosted Beach Life's Rehab Pool in the Hard Rock Hotel.

He tweeted, Chill day in my hometown Vegas, sipping @Malibu_Red at Rehab Pool. Life is good! #Compound - R.E.D 9/18/12

He also paraded around with a bevy of beauties and got the crowd hyped.

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx was the party's other host and he also hyped the crowd.
