Online Dating vs. Blind Dates
I think that online dating has totally taken over blind dates.
+With online dating you can kinda see what you are getting before hand.
+With blind date is you are relying on the credibility of a trusted friend to hook you up.
No lie. I went to New Orleans with my best best girlfriend years ago. She set me up with blind date with her cousin.
Booo. I vowed to never do that crap again. Not only was he not a match for me, it made me question the motives of my friend.
It seemed like I was being Punk'd and Aston Kutcher was going to come out and surprise me.

It works for me. Yeah I got the hook up from a few friends, but sometimes the friends don't know the game playing side of that person. Not saying that online won't get the same results sometimes, but at least you don't have to feel awkward when you see your friend and that hook up person again.
As a matter of fact, i just met a woman that seem to match me perfectly online. The last date I was on was with a woman that didn't know what the hell she wanted to do, but i can't blame that on my friend cause she was screwed up in that department.

I have never been on a blind date, and I've never dated online. I can only imagine what it would be like 2 feel punked on a date. It must leave a feeling kinda like Helldate would leave. If I never told u b4, let me tell u now, U R BEAUTIFUL !!! I'm talkn RAW, NATURAL, TRUE BEAUTY & it looks like it starts from within. If I were closer 2 U, it would b my mission 2 find out 4myself. Get your flirt on Bam!!!! LOL. I've never been on a blind date, but I have done the online dating once before. It was okay. We didn't work out, but overall he was a really good guy. I would do a blind date depending on who was setting me up. I only trust 2 people to set me up on a blind date because these two people know me thoroughly and they know what I like. With the online dating you have to be careful though. Sometimes people hide behind the screen and don't show you who they really are.

well i have i done both .well i done da chatline as well and they are just not 4 me cuz the person is not who they tell u they is.i mean b real cuz its alot of real gud women thats lookin 4 happieness and try thing 2 find it and it dnt work.either the men have had a women that was fake and dnt keep it real with them and they is makin it hard for us real gud women.so if they is any gud real men that lookin for a gud women we out there dnt give up on us gud ones.plzs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Go head Bam! I would personally prefer a blind date over online dating. You can somewhat find out about a person from the friend/family who set you up. With online dating, you don't know what you are getting. I know a couple of people who met their significant others online. If they like it, I love it, but not for me.

Damn.. do I hear NDN wedding bells in the future?-lol.. I'm not mad at you Bam. Get it!! It's all the same to me, online dating or blind date. People put up a front online as well so technically, you really don't know what you're getting yourself into. They can put up fake pics(I see it all the time), tell you a story, pretend to be someone else. So you're taking a chance either way, whether online or being set up.

Im with Cindy...its all the same. blind dating may be a lil safer, because you are getting hooked up by someone you know. with online, it could be anyone posing as anything...like: "yeah, my name is romeo jakes, imma real estate attorney who like treating a woman like a queen, traveling the world, and attending church"...SHEEAAATT....u go to meet 'romeo', and find out hes a trailer park ax murderer!!!!....seems like blind dating is a lil better.

Former B2K member Raz B has allegedly written a book called This Boy's Life. We say allegedly because we have not been able to verify existence of the book with the publishing company or Raz B's reps. But rumor has it that the book features explosive allegations about former B2K members (Omarion, Lil' Fizz, J Boog), Bow Wow, Ray J, Chris Stokes and Chris Brown all being gay.
On Chris the book says,
“They say you never know who knows who. Chris Brown didn’t think about that when he attacked me online. I have a friend that’s very close to Chris’ camp who told me that Chris was involved with an up and coming songwriter Andre Merritt. So when Chris started going in calling people ‘gay’ and ‘fags’ I just dropped Andre Merritt’s name. I knew it was true when he decided to shut up.”
Chris responded (his tweets were later deleted) to the alleged book saying,
If this book ever hits shelves, the fallout could be very interesting. We'll keep you posted.
Andre 3000 FILMS Jimi Hendrix Biopic + Ne-Yo & Jamie Foxx PARTY In Las Vegas
Andre 3000 is over in Dublin filming the Jimi Hendrix biopic. Get deets on the film and see Ne-Yo and Jamie Foxx hosting a pool party in Las Vegas.
Andre Benjamin aka Andre 3000 (who celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday) began filming All Is by My Side, a Jimi Hendrix biopic, today in Dublin, Ireland.
Andre 3000 wants fans to be surprised by the film so he avoided photos so everything will be fresh when it hits the screen.
But when it hits the screen, don't expect to hear Jimi's original music. Apparently, the estate is not on board with the biopic. The estate released a statement saying,
"Experience Hendrix CEO Janie Hendrix, sister of Jimi Hendrix, and the EH board have not ruled out a 'biopic' in the future though producing partners would, out of necessity, have to involve the company from the inception of any such film project if it is to include original Jimi Hendrix music or composition."
Andre 3000 will likely have to record covers of all Jimi songs used in the film. But hey.....isn't that what we wanted anyway?

Though his voice was not up to par, Bobby Brown put in a good faith effort this morning during a concert for The TODAY Show. He performed his new track "Don't Let Me Die" "Every Little Step" and "My Perogative."
TODAY's concert was one of his most high profile appearances on network television since the passing of Whitney Houston. During the interview with Peter Alexander, Bobby denied that his new track was about Whitney Houston saying it was about his fiancee Alicia. He added his new album is about being clean from drugs (7 years) and the blessings in his life.
He said he isn't doing reality tv now and is focused on his new album The Masterpiece.
