As Promised The Cougar Issue Revisted For Miss New York!!
In response to my other forum post regarding " Can Men over 40 keep up with Women over 40?"
More and more women are embracing the cougar within, finding in the label both the humor and a sense of empowerment. Just as many others find the term demeaning and reject it as sexist or,
at best, another unfortunate example of society's sexual double
standard.
Here is a general idea of what it means to be the type of woman considered by society standards to be a Cougar. Some woman may
feel that even though they may or may not be over the age of 40 that
they do have some if not all of these qualities to be considered this
type of lady!
She's in Control
First and foremost, the cougar woman is in total control - of her life, her
sexuality and her identity. She's her own woman, independent, strong
and sexy, confident in her self and unconcerned by what is expected of
her by society. It's that fearless attitude that makes a cougar.
She's Independent
A cougar is not just independent-minded, she's personally independent as
well. She is likely a career women who has reached a comfortable level
of financial freedom. She's worked hard and fought for her success.
She's found that while men her age and older are often intimidated by
her ambition and success, young men are drawn to it and hopeful to
learn from it.
Her independence extends to relationships where she has no time for petty drama. She's comfortable letting a
relationship develop naturally rather than trying to force it. She
knows a relationship takes work but also understands that one can't be
made into something it isn't.
She's Experienced
Let's face it: the cougar is experienced. She's more sophisticated and
worldly than her younger counterparts. She's worked hard, played hard
and really lived. Her experience has resulted in one simple truth: She
knows what she wants.
Her experience is particularly profound in the bedroom. To a young man she’s a living, breathing Kama Sutra,
versed in the ways of pleasure. To be with her is an orientation into
an unexplored world of contortionist positions, hidden erogenous zones,
and foreign animal noises. She knows what she likes, how she likes it
done and where, and instructs her cub on how best to give it. A night
with her and he will uncover the secrets of making a woman beg for
more. All men want those secrets and they know no amount of fumbling
about with inexperienced girls will ever provide them.
She's Undeniably Sexy
There's just something about a cougar. Whether she's the type that rocks a
business suit or tight top and jeans, she just exudes sexual power.
It's not something you can quantify or categorize. You can only feel
it.
A cougar knows that age is increasingly irrelevant. 40 is the new 30. 50, the new 40. Healthier lifestyles, a greater commitment
to fitness and an emphasis on style, have all contributed to something
young men have picked up on. Older women are smoking. The popularity of
yoga, pilates, unique diets and other health and fitness fads have
cougars looking hotter and more attractive longer. In fact, the older
she gets, the more delicious she becomes. Her toned body and and smooth
skin coalesce with an earned stately grace to create a sort of sexual
super woman.
She Likes the Attention
A cougar is quick to admit that when a young man expresses interest in her it
makes her feel great, whether she's into the guy or not. And why not?
It validates all of the hard work she's put in to looking hot and
staying young. It proves that she's still got it.
She also revels in the fact that other women are often jealous of her,
particularly younger women. The cattiness of the young woman is just
further validation that she, the cougar, is what men want. They want a
piece of her sass, her experience.
She's Down with the Program
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, a cougar is proud to be a cougar. She
wears the label as a badge of honor. She recognizes that it is
tongue-in-cheek, but also finds it empowering. It's both fun and sexy.
And maybe she even likes the feistyness it suggests.

My king Michigan...you hit the nail DEAD ON THE HEAD!!! One thing you also forgot to mention about a cougar...there are a select few of us who actually enjoy the company of a younger man over an older man or a man in our age bracket, simply because there are times when we just don't feel like holding a conversation. We just want to get the party started and we know that there are moments where the younger man usually doesn't have much to say about anything, and that's suits us just fine. .

Kim Zolciak debuted her real hair on last night's episode of "Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding." Check out what the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has been hiding under all that blonde wiggery inside...
Kim doesn't let anyone see her real hair and has proclaimed to never stop wearing wigs. Her own stylist, Derek J, hasn't even seen her real hair in over a year. So on last night's episode of "DBTFTW," she got balls to make the big reveal to Derek, her assistant and the rest of the world.
While trying to determine how she would style her hair for her upcoming wedding to Kroy, she decided to throw off the wig for a few minutes to show folks what she's been hiding. Maybe it was the flu she had just come down with that caused the change up too.
And we must say, chick may want to rethink wearing these wigs because the real hair suits her best:

ON THE SET: Rihanna & Her Short-Shorts Film "The End Of The World" In New Orleans
She's back on a movie set! With her major debut movie Battlefield still in theaters, Rihanna jetted to New Orleans this week to shoot a brand new comedy called The End of the World (formerly called The Apocalypse). And we've got pics of the hot bodied chick on the set rocking her fave look--the shortest shorts in her suitcase and a revealing crocheted top. Pics inside...
The flick is starring funny folks Seth Rogen (who also wrote and is directing), Michael Cera, Jason Segel, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Mindy Kaling, Aziz Ansari & Harry Potter's Emma Watson.
IMDB reports the plot as:
While attending a party at James Franco's house, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and many other celebrities are faced with the apocalypse.
In the scene being shot above, Rihanna and Emma Watson are running out of co-star James Franco's house party because suddenly, of course, the end of the world happens. All the co-stars are funny as hell, and reportedly they are all playing themselves, so this should be a good look for Rih. And it sounds like Kevin Hart drops by for a cameo as well as Rih tweeted a couple hours ago:

SPOTTED: Nas OUT & ABOUT In West Hollywood
Nasty Nas is in L.A. wrapping up his upcoming Life Is Good album (dropping 7/17). And he was spotted out and about in West Hollywood yesterday with Capricorn Clark--Bad Boy's Marketing Exec. We're not sure what's going on there--but we're sure they'll maintain they're friends and/or just working together. Pics inside...

It's been a big week for the sexy Mr. Jones as he dropped his brand new "Daughters" video featuring his own little girl Destiny. And he just revealed that he will be unveiling his brand new website and upcoming tour dates tomorrow.
About the meaning of his new album's Life Is Good title, Nas told Complex magazine this month it's all about getting to a point where you master your own life, and not letting thieves and money bring you down:
I never liked dealing with money. It comes between real shit. Friendship, loyalty, and love is the real shit. Money is the other shit. I have one way of dealing with money, and then you have educated people, who know how to deal with money, and we have conflicts there. It’s like in the movie Wall Street, my man Gekko says, “Pay attention. Money’s a jealous bitch. Either you’re going to pay attention to her, or she’ll find someone else that will.” And mine has definitely found other people who appreciate her more. [Laughs.] I’ve neglected her and abused her. I let a person take her from me—and I don’t mean my ex-wife, I mean some bad business from, like, six years ago that’s affecting me now. And I take responsibility for it, because it’s my problem. But I still see that as something I have to fix, because if you don’t fix money, it’ll fix your ass.
